Osmosis And Diffusion

Today in science we did a lab on Osmosis and Diffusion. In this lab, we took a bag that consists of corn starch and water and placed it into a beaker filled with iodine and water. After about 5 or 10 minutes, my group took out the bag, and the outside was purple and the corn starch had completely separated from the water. Today, I learned the definition or osmosis and diffusion and their differences. This lab taught me a lot, and was very interesting and abstract at the same time. I thought is was pretty cool that the bag turned purple, and I hope to learn more!
